Field Visit - Prince of Wales Museum.

My joy knew no bounds when I heard the Announcement that The students of Std.8 are going to visit the famous PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM on 15 July 2017 at Church-gate Mumbai. We outset for our long journey from Andheri To Churchgate. We started our Journey to PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM from my school at 8:30 am. We all students boarded our bus. There were all together 4 buses as Std. 8 has 4 divisions. The bus was of the Famous company We all know, i.e. The VOLVO buses. I was extremely excited to enter the bus. When I entered the bus, It seemed like I was in a Palace of Seats. We played 'Antakshari' and 'Damsharas' in the bus. We played as Girls VS. Boys Team. It was so enjoyable. We ate food, Drank Juices and recovered the games we were playing. At 9:30 am, We saw the Siddhivinayak Temple i.e. in Dadar. At 10:00 am, We reached the Famous Mahalakshmi Temple. In between, We saw many car showrooms like Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari, Renault, Nissan, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Lamborghini and many more. At 10:15, we reached Babulnath Temple. It is said that on the day of MAHASHIVRATRI, Lord Shiva appeared there. We also saw beaches, Bandra- Worli Sea link, Marine Drive, Girgaon Chowpatty where 'LalBaug Cha Raja' Visarjan is Done. We reached our Destination by 10:40 ma. In the entrance, I saw a Huge Sleeping Buddha's Idol. There were many Palm Trees situated around the whole area to look attractive. In the Gardens of the Museum, there were Orchid Flowers. There is also a variety in Buddha's Idols. The people working in this Museum have a planned situation. They had a map, emergency evacuation plan and much more. There were many carvings. There were various sections to roam around. In first, We entered Natural Historic Section. There was a variety of old and new birds and animals. These creatures were applied with chemicals so that they do not disintegrate. There were also Reptiles. Sir Dorab Tata Gallery had the most attractive paintings. There were also ancient stairs. Print Gallery and Indian Miniature paintings were one of my favourites. There was an Ancient Idol of Lord Srinathji of Rajasthan. There was a lot of variety in ancient stuffs. Then, We entered a section named The Assyrian Palace Reliefs. In this section, there were carvings from Ajanta & Ellora Caves, A Railing Pillar, STUDCO. Shantinatha was a section full of Idols Of Different God's. There were a lot of old scabbards for the king. At last, we heard a small 2 minutes lecture from the Instructor and then we left for our home. I reached my house by 4:00pm. That was My most memorable field visit ever.
