Smaller Idols, Bigger Faith :-)

How green is your idol??

๐Ÿ™

Hello Everyone,
We know that It's the time for the most popular Festive Season in India. We Indians celebrate this festival with lots of joy, fire-crackers and of-course, Our most beloved Ganapati Bappa.
Yes, Bappa is always with you and will forever be.

But, due to this Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, We Indians, this year, will have to celebrate this festival with some carefulness and most-importantly, we have to maintain social-distancing. We know that we all come together and celebrate this festival but, this year, we wont be able to celebrate the most loved festival freely.

(Social Distancing- We Indians however, dont wish to maintain social distancing during these festivals, but this year, IT'S MY REQUEST TO ALL, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR LIFE & BAPPA'S BLESSINGS, PLEASE DO MAINTAIN SOCIAL-DISTANCING AND DONT GATHER IN A PLACE UNNECESSARILY.)

Also,
We do have a trend to buy Big Ganesh idols.
Big Idols aren't available in Eco-friendly clay. The Big Idols are made from Plaster-of-Paris which do not dissolve in water. The main reason to not buy P-O-P idols this year is because, if you buy a P-O-P idol, you will have to visit seashore to immerse the idol where alot of crowd gathers.

While if you buy an eco-friendly clay idol, you can do a Home-Visarjan. Eco-friendly idol of 1-1.5 feet in height can easily be immersed at home. You can put the left-over clay in plants after the immersion.
This can prevent you from coming in contact with any person during the visarjan outside when you go to beaches or artificial ponds where usually there's alot of crowd.

Prefer Home-Visarjan and buy small Eco-friendly idols.

There are many websites on social-media like 'PaperGanesha' and 'TreeGanesha' which provide idols made from Paper-mache and Red-soil (Laal-Matti) respectively.
Well! The prices of a regurlar sized idol of PaperGanesha and TreeGanesha may seem more to some people. So instead of them, you can buy a Eco-friendly clay Idol of 1-1.5 feet.
It shouldn't cost you more than 1000-3000 Rupees.

"SIZE DOESN'T MATTER, YOUR FAITH AND DEVOTION DOES".

So this year, Let's Celebrate GANESH CHATURTHI in this Eco-friendly way and try not come in contact with anyone, making the World a better place to live in.

  1. Superb writing ✍️ Ani, Thank You for the reminder that we are and we will always be in debt of the this Mother Earth ๐ŸŒ for giving too many things, so if we can’t give her anything then we don’t have right to harm her in any way.
We will definitely go for the Eco-friendly Ganesha๐Ÿ™
